Do fields exist?
I was recently asked: what is a field in Wolfram Physics?
(This was in a comment on YouTube. Thanks for all your comments on YouTube, they really help me decide where to go with The Last Theory!)
My immediate reaction was, well, there’s no such thing as a field in Wolfram Physics.
But that would have been my reaction whether we’re talking about Wolfram Physics, quantum mechanics, general relativity or even classical physics.
Fields are convenient fictions.
But they’re dangerous fictions.
Too often in the history of physics, the concept of a field has blinded us to the underlying reality.
It’s happening again now.
The concept of a field is blinding us the the underlying reality of the hypergraph.
