Hypergraphs are everywhere

Exciting news: this week I talked to Jonathan Gorard for over three hours.

Jonathan is one of the founders of The Wolfram Physics Project, instrumental in advancing the theory, not least in deriving General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics from the hypergraph.

To put this in context, talking to Jonathan feels a bit like talking to Dirac, Heisenberg, Pauli or Schrödinger in the early days of quantum mechanics.

I’m going to be releasing 10-minute chunks of our conversation as bonus episodes, alternating with my regular content, starting next week.

In the meantime, this week I’m asking a question that fascinates me, not least because hypergraphs are something my two biggest projects, The Last Theory and the Open Web Mind, have in common.

Why are hypergraphs everywhere?
